Staffing Updates

We are predicting very few changes in staffing for the 2012-13 school year. We are honored by the longevity of our staff. We will also have a few positions that we know are going to be available. If you, or someone you know, is interested, please have them complete the MSBG Employment Application found on our website or CLICK HERE for the form. Anticipated positions include: Substitute Teachers, Administrative Assistant (part-time), and Extended Care.

Farewell, Miss Melissa;
Hello Miss Emmily

We are grateful to "Miss Melissa" Keith, who has been our Interim Office Manager for this semester and an aftercare employee this school year. She will be moving to join her husband who is in the military. Thank you, Miss Melissa, for all you've done and please come visit!

"Miss Emmily" Hunter will be joining our office staff as an Administrative Assistant. Emmily is a temp worker from Adecco Employment Services. She, her husband, and son all reside in Bowling Green. Emmily holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Development and her major was Event Planning and Tourism. Her savvy computer skills and excellent customer service will be an asset to our office staff this summer .

The new sign! Thanks to PTO for their donation and for everyone who has brought in boxtops! They add up!

A True Triple Play: Win, Win, Win!!!

The MSBG marketing budget this year is extremely tight but marketing the school is super important! Jess has done an excellent job on the shoestring budget that we have and had to make some tough choices this year. One of the items that we would love to try again is sponsoring a Lunch in the Park at City Park to target parents and grandparents in the community and just get the word out about how awesome MSBG is. What we need to do that though is $300, which gets the logo on the flyer, website, press release in the Sentinel, announcement and table at the lunch event. The lunch date we are looking at is Friday, July 27 and the scheduled entertainment is none other than MSBG parent Tim Concannon!

This is where the win, win, win comes in! If you would like to donate to make this happen your money goes into the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Foundation so you get a tax deductable contribution, you help MSBG and you help your parks! If you are interested please let myself or Miss Jess know, and any amount will help. Checks should be made payable to BGPR Foundation and if we receive more then the $300 amount Jess can decide on other marketing opportunities that are available (like maybe a banner at the Community Center).

Any questions feel free to ask me at morning drop off or e-mail me at otleybk@wcnet.org, or you can ask Miss Jess!

We will place one order of physical cards on July 6th.  I will send out a reminder to GL Scrip registered participants shortly before that deadline so you can be sure to get your order in to replenish your cards.

In addition to the physical card order, GL Scrip offers a service called ScripNow! that delivers an electronic gift card directly to your e-mail account within minutes of ordering.  This service is available at any time, 24 hours a day throughout the school year and the summer.  You will receive the same rebate credit for these orders as you do for physical cards.  Many cards have recently been added to the ScripNow! service.  Below is a summary of the major cards that are available using ScripNow!

Re-Enrollment
Time!

For all of you that receive tuition rebates through your Kroger Plus card, please note that you must RE-ENROLL each card during the month of April in order to continue benefits without interruption for the coming year.  The Kroger Community Rewards program year runs from May to May.  At the end of each year, Kroger requires that each Kroger Plus member re-establish their link to MSBG or benefits will no longer be paid.  Kroger has a designated pool of money that is given each quarter to those that are enrolled.  Because it takes many members awhile to login and re-enroll, it really benefits you to login right away and receive benefits in the 1st quarter.  The 1st quarter has historically been the largest payout per participant.  So don’t delay – re-enroll today!!!

Instructions to re-enroll your Kroger Plus Card:
1.        Go to www.kroger.com
2.       Click the sign in button on the banner near the top of the screen and enter login info
3.       Click on My Account
4.       Click on Community Rewards and select “Edit Community Rewards Information”
5.       For the 1st option, type in “80235” and hit “Search”
6.       For the 2nd item, select “Montessori School of Bowling Green”
7.       Save the changes at the bottom
8.       Enjoy your tuition rebates for another year!

If you have any questions, contact Alisa.Suelzer@gmail.com.  Also please let Alisa know if you register any new cards so that she is sure to credit your account for the rebates received.
