Dragi prijatelji,
Ensemble Marquise je na našem lanskoletnem festivalu gostoval s tremi koncerti: v Ljubljani v Turjaški palači, na gradu Pišece in na gradu Bogenšperk, na katerih so predstavili baročne mojstrovine različnih avtorjev 18. stoletja. Zaradi odličnega umetniškega vtisa in navdušenja obiskovalcev sem jih letos ponovno povabil, tokrat s še nekoliko bolj ekskluzivnim programom, ko sta na sporedu dve zbirki: Štirje letni časi Marca-Antoina Charpentierja in Arkadijski dueti Georga Friedricha Händla. Seveda na način, ki ga ta odlični madžarski ansambel uporablja na vseh svojih nastopih: v rokokojskih kostumih, ki jih je za svoj ansambel vsakega posebej ročno izdelal in izvezel László Blaskovics, sicer sopranist tega ansambla.
V zasedbi Judit Blaskovics-Felszeghy (koloraturni sopran), László Blaskovics (moški sopran), Dénes Kocsis (mojster ceremonij), Katalin Kállay (kljunasta flavta), Ágnes Kállay (violončelo) in Márta Gál (čembalo) bo Ensemble Marquise nastopil na dveh koncertih:
v četrtek, 2.8.2012, ob 20:30, v Žalcu v Dvorcu Novo Celje in
v petek, 3.8.2012, prav tako ob 20:30 na gradu Grad na Goričkem.
Koncertni program je sestavljen iz izjemnih biserov baročne glasbe, in sicer Charpentierovih štirih motetov Štirje letni časi in Arkadijskih duetov Georga Friedricha Händla, ki predstavljajo čudovit izbor Händlovih italijanskih komornih duetov. Besedilo štirih motetov so odlomki iz svetopisemske Visoke pesmi, medtem ko besedila Arkadijskih duetov prikazujejo učinke ljubezni na človeško življenje in dušo. Na koncertu naš ceremonijer – igralec izvaja ta čutna svetopisemska besedila skupaj s pesnitvami iz 18. stoletja. Koncert obudi vzdušje 17. in 18. stoletja s pomočjo kostumov iz tega časa, odrskih pripomočkov, igre in pripovedi, ki dopolnijo glasbo in poskrbijo za to, da je uprizoritev nepozabno doživetje.
Koncert v Žalcu je ta hip že razprodan, za Grad pa so vstopnice še razpoložljive. Ker na oba koncerta pelje iz Ljubljane naš Festibus, vabimo vse ljubitelje stare glasbe iz okolice Celja, da svoj obisk usmerijo na grad Grad in rezervirajo sedež na Festibusu. Ta odpelje iz Ljubljane za Grad ob 17:15, ob 18:00 pa ima postanek na parkirišču pred Hotelom Žalec. Rezervacija sedeža je obvezna najkasneje na dan koncerta do 12.00.
Baročni dvorec Novo Celje je leta 1756 začel graditi grof Anton Gaisruck, dokončal pa ga je njegov brat grof Janez Karl Gaisruck leta 1764. Avtorstvo arhitekture je pripisano Matiji Perskemu. V Novem Celju je v prvi polovici 19. stoletja živela prva slovenska pesnica Fanny Hausmann, sodobnica Franceta Prešerna. V sedemdesetih letih 19. stoletja je grajski oskrbnik Josip Bilger uspešno uredil prvi nasad württemberšega hmelja in s tem utemeljil dejavnost, ki Spodnji Savinjski dolini še vedno daje prepoznaven pečat. V tridesetih letih 20. stoletja so v dvorec postavili bolnišnico. S tem je sicer izgubil večji del svoje bogate opreme, še vedno pa predstavlja s svojo arhitekturno zasnovo, ohranjeno vhodno avlo, reprezentančnim stopniščem, kapelo, svečano dvorano in drugimi arhitekturnimi elementi enega najkvalitetnejših baročnih profanih spomenikov na Slovenskem.
Grad Grad je največji grajski kompleks na Slovenskem, ki šteje čez 800 let in stoji na griču iz bazaltnega tufa. Današnji obseg je grad dobil v 16. in 17. stoletju, prenovljen pa je bil v 18. in 19. stoletju. Grad je imel skozi stoletja več lastnikov. Danes je grad obnovljen, v njem je sedež Krajinskega parka Goričko, informacijsko središče za obiskovalce, muzej, delavnice domače obrti, vinoteka in poročna dvorana. Grajski velikaši so leta 1751 sezidali tudi svojo grobnico, Kripto, ki stoji v zaselku Kaniža. Pred grajskim poslopjem se razprostira velik grajski park, kjer poleg mogočnih tulipanovcev najdemo tudi druga eksotična drevesa. Na grajski terasi pa je pet točk, na katerih lahko čutimo zdravilne vibracije, ki ugodno vplivajo na telo ter zdravijo razne bolezni.
V palaciju gradu Grad si lahko ogledate tudi razstavo slik akademskega slikarja Nikolaja Beera »S pouti na Goričko«. Razstava bo na ogled do 31.10.2012. V njej se v Križevcih na Goričkem rojeni slikar ob vračanju domov spogleduje s slikovitostjo krajine in jo slika v prepoznavnih Kükečih. V nanosih barve je čutiti dinamiko površja, v odtenkih barve je videti strukturo krajine, ki so jo z naravo soustvarili ljudje.

Last year our festival hosted Ensemble Marquise with three concerts: at the Turjak Palace in Ljubljana, at Pišece Castle and at Bogenšperk Castle, at which they presented baroque masterpieces of various 18th century authors. On account of their excellent artistic impression and the enthusiasm on the part of the visitors, I have decided to invite them to come again this year, this time with a somewhat more exclusive programme, presenting two collections: Four Seasons by Marc-Antoine Charpentier and Arcadian Duets by Georg Friedrich Händel. You can expect them to perform in the way that this marvellous Hungarian ensemble does at each of their concerts: in rococo costumes, which were made and embroidered by hand for each of the members by László Blaskovics, who is also the ensemble's soprano.
With the cast of Judit Blaskovics-Felszeghy (coloratura soprano), László Blaskovics (male soprano), Dénes Kocsis (Master of Ceremonies), Katalin Kállay (recorder), Ágnes Kállay (cello) and Márta Gál (harpsichord), Ensemble Marquise is scheduled to perform two concerts:
on Thursday, August 2nd 2012, at 8.30 pm, at the Novo Celje Mansion in Žalec and
on Friday, August 3rd 2012, also at 8.30 pm, at the Grad Castle in Goričko.
The concert programme is comprised of remarkable gems of baroque music, that is, Charpentier's four motets the Four Seasons and Arcadian Duets by Georg Friedrich Händel, which present a wonderful selection of Händel's Italian chamber duets. The lyrics for the four motets are passages from the biblical Song of Songs, while the Arcadian Duets lyrics are a depiction of the effects of love on human life and soul. During the concert, our Master of Ceremonies – actor performs these sensual and passionate biblical texts together with poems from the 18th century. The concert revives the atmosphere of the 17th and 18th centuries with period dress, scenic accessories, acting and narration to complement and dramatize the musical experience, making the performance an unforgettable experience.
The concert in Žalec has already been sold out, but there are still tickets available for Grad. Since our Festibus can take you from Ljubljana to both concerts, we invite all early music lovers from the Celje area to direct their visit to Castle Grad and reserve a seat on the Festibus. It departs from Ljubljana for Grad at 17:15 and makes a stop at 18:00 on the parking lot in front of Hotel Žalec. Reservations of the Festibus transportation are obligatory and can be made until noon on the day of the concert.
Earl Anton Gaisruck began building the baroque Novo Celje Mansion in 1756, but it was finished by his brother, Earl Janez Karl Gaisruck, in 1764. The architectural authorship is attributed to Matija Perski. The first Slovenian female poet, Fanny Hausmann, who was a contemporary of France Prešeren, lived in Novo Celje in the first half of the 19th century. In the 1870s the castle’s caretaker Josip Bilger successfully arranged the first plantation of Württemberg hops and, with that, established the activity which still characterises Spodnja Savnjska dolina. In the 1930s a hospital was set up in the mansion. Although it lost the majority of its rich interior because of this, it still remains one of the highest-quality baroque secular monuments on Slovene territory, with its architectural design, well-preserved entry lobby, representative staircase, chapel, solemn hall and other architectural elements.
The Grad Castle is one of the largest castle complexes on Slovene territory. It is over 800 years old and stands on a hill of basalt tuff. The castle became the size it is today in the 16th or 17th century, and it was renovated in the 18th or 19th century. It had various owners throughout the years. Today it is renovated; it has the seat of the Goričko Landscape Park, an information centre for visitors, a museum, handicraft workshops, a wine shop and a wedding hall. Castle magnates also built a tomb for themselves called Kripta in 1751, which is situated in the Kaniža settlement. In front of the castle building, a big castle park unfolds, where one can find mighty tulip trees and other exotic trees. On the castle terrace, there are five points where one can sense healing vibrations which are beneficial for the body and can cure various illnesses.
At the Grad Castle, one can also see the exhibition of paintings »S pouti na Goričko« (“From the Road to Goričko”) by the academic painter Nikolaj Beer. The exhibition will be on display until October 31st 2012. In it the painter, born in Križevci, Goričko, returns home, flirting with the beautiful landscape and painting it in the characteristic Kükeč. In the coats of colour, one can feel the dynamics of the surface, and in the colour shades, one can observe the structure of the landscape, which was created by people in collaboration with nature.
