Here is the final part of the newsletter that some of you could not read. My apologies.

Michael Johnson and 'The Survival of the Fastest'
This is our final and most important stop. I am going to critique a television programme 'The Survival of the Fastest' broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK on Thursday 5th July 2012. Here is the programme description taken from the Channel 4 website:
"Why is it that all the athletes that lined up for the men's 100m final at the Beijing Olympics could trace their ancestry back to the trans-Atlantic slave trade?
In this landmark documentary, Olympian Michael Johnson embarks on a personal genealogical and scientific journey in a bid to understand if he and other world-class African American and Caribbean athletes are successful as a result of slavery.
Michael Johnson is a four-time Olympic gold medallist and the finest sprint athlete of his generation. In this remarkable authored film he discovers some disturbing truths about the lives of his enslaved ancestors.
From the mass murder of those on the slave ships to the nightmarish breeding programmes of the plantation owners, Johnson confronts this appalling history.
He speaks to leading voices in the world of sport and science to examine the link between the trans-Atlantic slave trade and genetic selection.
He investigates the role slavery may have played in altering the genomes of their descendants. He speaks to experts whose research has led them to conclude this has contributed to the success of African American and Caribbean sprinters.
Is this part of the explanation of why these athletes are likely to dominate the track at London 2012?"

The programme was long on hypothesis and speculation, but very short on science. Here are the reasons postulated for the genetic basis of the sprinting prowess of African men (there was little focus on women) from the US and Caribbean diaspora.

1. The extreme trauma of the kidnapping, jounery to and stay in the slave dungeons folow by horror of the middle passage produced gentic transformation in those Afrikans who survived,
2. The genetic mixing of Afrikans from a wide area of Afrika led to the genetic cleansing of Afrikans in the diaspora (Afrikans being the most gentically diverse people on Earth) hence leading to an enhanced gene pool,
3. The plantation breeding programmes led to selective breed for particular physical traits e.g. height and strength and hence created the basis for fast powerful athletes.

The remarkable thing about this programme was the almost total lack of any genetic evidence to support these postulations which were described as theories. Scientific theories are supposed to be tested and peer reviewed so these ideas were not even worthy of the title of hypothesis. The only genetic information provided, related to Michael Johnson himself and showed that he was 7/8ths Afrikan and had a strong genetic connection to a region of Senegal. That was it.
In order for these ideas to be tested one would have expected the programme makers to examine/demonstrate the following:

- A genetic difference between Afrikans in West Afrika and Afrikans of West Afrikan descent in the diaspora. This genetic difference would then have to be directly connected to sprinting ability
- An examination of the genetic make up of a range of top class sprinters from different backgrounds
- An explanation as to why Caucasian athletes used to win the men's Olympic 100m title e.g. 1952, 1956, 1972, 1980
- An explanation as to whether this genetic explanation also applies to women.
- An explanation as why a significant number West Afrikans have run the 100m in under 10 seconds. Are they partly genetically enhanced?
- Where are all the great Afrikan sprinters from Brazil, which has the largest Black population outside of Afrika and India.

This programme was not even pseudo-science. It was typical Channel 4 racialised hype designed to ride on the back of the Olympics to gain viewers. It is not new. They ran a three part programme a few years ago looking at genetics, but from a wider perspective. The first programme looked at the physical aspect of genetics including genetic explanations for sprinting speed and excellence in long distance running (focusing on Kenyans and Ethiopians). By the last programme they got to the real crux of the matter, the genetic basis of intelligence and I will leave you to work out in which programme Afrikans were most heavily featured.

Why we get fooled - Programmes such as the Channel 4 show described above are designed to confuse Afrikans and reinforce racial stereotypes. They encourage Afrikans to join opposing camps. The genetic explanation camp in which you can get an ego boost from feeling you have a genetic advantage in something as trivial as running fast. Or, the non-genetic camp in which you stress hard work, motivation, opportunity and talent as the basis for success in any field combined with some level of natural aptitude. So, we end up arguing between ourselves whilst they have opened up the genetic Pandora's box as a basis for disinterring their hoary old racial pseudo-science of the 19th century.

The question that you need to ask is not, is there a genetic basis for sprinting prowess, but rather, Why are Caucasians so obsessed with this question. Ever since Jim Hines won the Olympic 100 title at the Mexico Games in 1968, in the first all Afrikan Olympic final, Caucasians have been obsessing about this. Let's flip the script and ask why they are not preoccupied by their dominance in swimming. Success in swimming is attributed to hard work, talent and perhaps some physical characteristics like being very tall or having very long arms, but never racialised genetics. The answer is simple and obvious. Caucasians believe it is natural and normal for them to dominate and win at everything, hence they only question those areas in which they don't dominate. So they don't gentically examine the pole vault, hammer, discuss, shot putt or any other athletic event they have historically dominated. They ascribe genetic explanations to Afrikan success in basketball but not to Caucasian success in volleyball even though both sports require the ability to excel in leaping vertically.

The person who defines the question defines the parameters of the debate. We should not be reacting to this racialised and racist provocation, because history should have taught us that there is a hidden agenda.
When Caucasian scientists hypothesise that there is a 'criminality' or 'violence' gene, which they already have, who do you think is going to be found to be disproportionate carriers of this gene?
As Marcus Garvey and others have said, if a people are inferior why would you mistreat them, discriminate against them, violate them?

There is a saying, 'beware of Greeks bearing gifts' which relates to the story of the Trojan Horse being used to sureptitiously bring Greek soldiers into the city of Troy, which resulted in th destruction of Troy and end of the 10 year war.
We can bring it up to date and say 'beware of Whites bearing genetic gifts' even when presented by Black presenters. Unfortunately, Michael Johnson was duped by the producers of this programme in to presenting speculation dressed up as scientific theory. Of course the producers knew exactly what they were doing in having it fronted by an Afrikan sprint champion.

Conclusion
The Olympics is going to be a festival of sport, corporate advertising and racism. From the billions of pounds that have flowed into White corporate coffers (do not stop at Black hands collect £200M at Go) to the patronising of athletes from 'third world countries' to the stereotyping of Afrikan competitors in general and the racist commentary. In the UK there seems to have been an unprecedented level of 'race rows' relating to sport during 2012 and that leads me to think that something is afoot. Racism is not always consciously directed, but it is most certainly culturually directed and the inventors of 'race' and racism are hard at work provoking and confusing; to cause you to take your eye off the ball, which is their global war machine causing havoc around the world. Magicians call it misdirection. They get you to watch the left hand whilst the right is picking your pocket.
Sport is trivial but can teach us valuable lessons. The obsession of Afrikan people in the diaspora (particularly men) with sport is detrimental and directly linked to the massive media coverage of sport, which is one of the few areas - along with other forms of the entertainment industry - where Afrikan children see a lot of 'successful' Afrikans. Television is still the greatest single source of psychological conditioning in the world today and sport is at the forefront of this seasoning process which turns Afrikans into Ni**ers. Our ancestor Del Jones aka Nana Kuntu said that the USA was one big 'Ni**er Factory' and sport is at the heart of this Ni**erisation process. So, enjoy sport if you like it, but don't be seduced by it or its promotion of racist values and White Domination.

I hope you have found this issue interesting. Keep sharing it with likeminded individuals and remind them to sign up if they find my newsletters beneficial.
As usual don't take what I say at face value. Investigate these issues for yourself, discuss them with your friends, develop your own thinking and apply it in your life. Teach your children and other young relatives to treat television and media in general with the utmost caution. Mass media can seriously mash up your brain.
