KAPISANAN Philippine Centre for Arts & Culture is a non-profit organization that gives Filipino-Canadian youth opportunities to cultivate a positive sense of cultural identity and leadership potential. Through community-based arts and cultural programming and presentation, KAPISANAN creates a an amazing stage for Filipino-Canadian talent to shine, as well as a safe space to explore Filipino culture and heritage, fostering pride and self-confidence, inspiring and empowering them to realize their full potential.

Our Kensington Market facility houses a performance/rehearsal space, a store-front retail gallery, a Filipino heritage library, art studios, as well as video production and editing equipment. Armed with an appetite for creative endeavours and critical community advancement, here at the K, we eat art and inspiration.

KAPISANAN is looking for vendors for our
7th Annual KULTURA Filipino Arts Festival: Adobo Edition, now bigger than ever at Artscape Wychwood Barns!


Are you a Filipino-Canadian local artist, importer, crafter, artisan, entreperneur, maker or seller? KAPISANAN wants YOU to take advantage of all the festival goers at Artscape Wychwood Barns! Our expansion of KULTURA at Artscape includes our usual music stage, a beer garden, and select Toronto Filipino restaurants competing to bring you the BEST ADOBO in TORONTO. It's our biggest KULTURA yet, and it's the first time we are taking it outside of our Kensington Market home.

We expect 400-500 attendees, plus walk-ins from other events in other areas of the Barns. KULTURA is free for everyone, so we are expecting a great crowd. Through the generous support of Artscape, KULTURA will be promoted through their numerous social media and marketing channels, reaching  non-Filipino audiences across the GTA. It will be fun crazy day of shopping (for your stuff), a delicious array of specialty regional and modern deconstructed styles of Adobo, halo-halo, and awesome local Filipino-Canadian music!
