Creative England awards £150,000 to support and promote filmmaking activities

Creative England has awarded £150,000 to support and promote filmmaking activities in the English regions in the latest round of its Film Network Fund. Individual awards range from £8,750 to Sheffield-based 104 Films’ nationwide workshop programme in support of disabled new filmmaking talent, to £25,000 for networking sessions and events for animators in Yorkshire, the South West and the West Midlands. Read more.

Claudia Winkleman hosts Film Nation:Shorts awards

The awards, presented by Panasonic in association with Creative England, marked the triumphant conclusion of the Film Nation competition, which has been running since 2010 as part of the four-year Cultural Olympiad.
