CROSS(X) SPECIES FILM: Invitation to a special screening

We have just completed a documentary film about our cross species adventure last November with artist Natalie Jeremijenko and chef Mihir Desai. Join us for a special screening of the Cross(x) Species Adventure Club: Australian Safari at Loop Bar in Melbourne's CBD. The film takes us on a journey from rural Victoria to the Melbourne Museum with Natalie and Mihir and all their eccentric collaborators - human and non-human - as they seek to invent new dishes that reinvent our relationship with other species. All proceeds go to our wonderful filmmaker Ms Rouge, AKA vaudeville.tv.

ECHOLOGY UPDATE: Site visits announced

Last month we announced the call out for proposals for Echology: Making Sense of Data, a Carbon Arts and ANAT initiative to develop three high‐profile public artworks at Lend Lease sites in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Due to the nature of the Melbourne and Brisbane Echology sites, we have arranged for site visits for interested artists. Each visit will last up to an hour and will include a viewing of the full site model, as well as a walking tour of the specific site/s selected for the Echology artworks.

THE ART OF CLIMATE CHANGE: A special event with AbaF Tasmania

Carbon Arts and Hydro Tasmania are co-sponsoring an event with AbaF (the Australian Business and Art Foundation) that will bring together a diverse array of industry and public sector players to explore collaboration with the cultural sector on climate change.

Join us for this mini-symposium in Hobart on the 2nd of August that will feature presentations from Climate Futures Tasmania, the SenseT sensor network project of CSIRO, Art of Engagement: 3Cs, and Carbon Arts. A panel discussion will be followed by networking and refreshments. And it's free!
