Did you know...?

According to the National Candle Association, the majority of candles are burned within one week of purchase? If you're taking advantage of my Christmas in July specials and won't be burning your candles in the next seven days, it is best to follow these tips:

Always store your candles in a cool, dry place. Store tapes and dinner candles flat in order to prevent warping.
Avoid placing your candles in strong light, including sunlights and spot lights. Candles can fade over time if left in bright light for too long.
Fragrance can evaporate over time. Place a lid on an unlit and non-smoking candle to reduce the loss of fragrance from its cold throw.

New Fragrances

This month I have four new fragrances to offer you:

Coconut Green Tea is a lovely summer fragrance which combines scents from the Carribean and the spa in one luxurious candle. A trendy new scent for 2012 and an addition to my Yoga Collection, Coconut brings a luxurious and exotic summer quality to this unique fragrance, while Green Tea adds a calming and relaxing quality to the candle when lit.

Eucalyptus Peppermint is another recent addition to my Yoga Collection, featuring fragrances of relaxation and teas. The calming scent of Eucalyptus combines with the fresh energy of Peppermint to bring an invigorating freshness to your room.

Lavender & Sage is a particular favorite of mine this season. Many of you know how I love my Lavender fragrances....this one beats them all! Featured in my Garden Collection (fruits and florals), beautiful Lavender combines with herbal Sage in a unique yet classic fragrance for any time of year.

Lastly, Lemon Lavender brings together the clean freshness of both scents, perfect for this time of year when our windows are closed.

New Retail Location Added

Recently, a third retail location was added where you can find D'Lites by Dorene products: Library House Antiques & Art located in Grand Rapids, Ohio. This lovely shop is located at 24122 Front Street and features a gallery of locally made art and antiques and collectibles.

Products are also available at Phoebe's in the French Quarter, located in Rossford, Ohio, and in The Bookshelf II in Fostoria, Ohio.
