help a startup out

Silicon Valley needs your help.

To the Silicon Valley Startup Community,

We would love to help everyone who reaches out to us
, but the Silicon Valley [Startup Digest] audience has gotten so big (now over 16,000 people) that some of your needs are falling through the cracks. Whenever that happens, the startup ecosystem suffers. We can't let that happen, so we are asking you to support each other.

We are testing out a new digest.
It's called Help a Startup Out. It will feature the needs of members of the Silicon Valley startup community and rely on you to respond to them. If you like the test, we will share the needs of the community on Wednesdays.

As you can see below, these needs usually include service requests from startup leaders (like Eric Ries), jobs at hot startups, and calls for beta testers or cool applications.

To make sure that you don't waste your time with meaningless requests and, honestly, to help us eat ramen every day, we are going to charge $100 to have your need highlighted to the entire Silicon Valley startup community.

If you hate this test of Help a Startup Out, please tell us. You can unsubscribe here. If the community is against it, we’ll never do it again.

If you love this test of Help a Startup Out and you want to share your needs in the next issue, submit your request here.

If you are open to it, we think that this simple email could be a very powerful tool for fellow entrepreneurs to help each other, faster.

After all, when one of us succeeds, the community wins.
