All Eyes on Demo Day
July may be a time for relaxation and vacations, but for thirty eight startups in downtown Syracuse, each day is simply another 24 hours when they can work on refining their product and business model in preparation for Demo Day in August.
First up on August 15th will be the Syracuse Student Sandbox teams. With a record 30 teams participating, presenting on Demo Day will be limiting to a handful of the top performing teams. We encourage all members of the Upstate entrepreneurial community to come out in force and show their support for the teams. Register.
August 16th is the day for StartFast, teams to shine. Chuck and Nasir are also keeping a weekly blog for those interested in following the teams' progress. The event is limited to accredited investors, StartFast mentors, and guests of the startup teams. Register.

Syracuse to host NEXT Conference
NEXT is a new one-day conference presented by the CNYTDO and CASE at Syracuse University.
This launch event will feature keynotes by international innovation experts Robert Tucker and Jeremy Rifkin, as well as educational workshops in four tracks: 1) Innovation & Commercialization; 2) Technology Trends; 3) Manufacturing Excellence; and 4) Business Growth.
