New Shades
of Brown Sheep

The Yarn: New shades in Nature Spun Fingering, Sport and Worsted, Lamb's Pride Worsted and Bulky and the new shade of Burly Spun.

Made in America!

How does the company pick new colors?
Once a year new colors are picked and some old ones are discontinued to keep different lines of yarns fresh and current with fashion.  Brown’s subscript to the Color Association of the United States.  This organization develops their predictions based on the colors as shown on the European runway.  The current colors that are already in the line up for different yarns are compared to the predictions and if there is a significantly new color it is considered for production.

Hand Dyes
from the
Sheepwalk

I am stoked to announced that I have some fresh hand dyes in the shop. We are still waiting on my Crazy Monkey skein winder and a 10 pounds of yarn to be dyed. The newest batch has 400+ yards, some with silver sparkle and others just 100% merino. More to come. 800+ yards per dye lot. All are sock weight.

The color theme for Fall is to be announced soon. We were thinking that Viking names would be fun which means Viking colors are the order of the day. Let's see how that turns out!n
