WAMP celebrates 6th birthday on Sunday design fair

6 years, 76 design fairs, 600.000 visitors, 3 design festivals, 9 international and 4 professional awards are the main results of six years of WAMP’s history. Come to the birthday fair this Sunday and celebrate with us! To make the atmosphere most festive please wear something you had purchased earlier on WAMP. Both old and new visitors are welcome, come and spend the day with us and stroll along the designer passage.

Designer of the Month in July: Kalácska Zsanett
You may have already heard Zsanett Kalácska’s name, who was awarded a special WAMP prize for her accessories at the Gombold Újra fashion show. The tulip motives were inspired by an animal called pangolin, which is the main inspiration for her works. Both design items and jewellery are designed by using these unique structures. You can find them under her own brand name called Zwana. She also designs interior design and decoration objects.

Birthday party
Check out the photos of our birthday party held at Design Terminal where we celebrated with all our exhibitors, friends and partners. Balloons, bites by Costes restaurant, a birthday cake by Raj Rahel and Simon Iddol dj made the evening unforgettable. The birthday party also marks a new date in WAMP’s history. In 6 years our activity has widened and we arrived to a new chapter in our lives. We proudly announced that Károly Gerendai, founder of Sziget Festival will join WAMP, as a professional investor.
