Back Care Awareness Week 2012

October 8-12 is the time for the annual Back Care Awareness Week (BCAW) in association with the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) and BackCare UK. We have updated our web site with some new instructional advice videos straight from the BCA. During the BCAW we offer Half Price Initial Chiropractic Consultations. These apply to appointments booked during that week but the appointment date can be later. Do tell your colleagues, friends and family about this amazing offer. Also share this newsletter by email or via social media by using the buttons on the right side.

NICE recommends Traditional Chinese Acupuncture over drugs for chronic headaches.

New headache treatment guidelines have been published by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE). They recommend avoiding painkillers as they often end up making the headaches worse. Traditional Chinese Acupuncture is recommended as an effective drug free treatment option. So if you, or a friend is a sufferer give us a call now. Traditional Chinese Acupuncture should not be confused with the type of of acupuncture offered by some GPs, physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and others.

Competition winner gets prize upgraded!

We got extremely close to 400 likes, which was a near quintupling of the likes when we started. Not bad, but nearly 400 would have meant only an iPod Shuffle as the prize. However, we decided to upgrade it to an iPod Nano, which was gratefully received by Katie Taylor from Lancing. She chose to have a pink one engraved so that her daughter's would not mistake it for theirs!!!!
Thank you to everyone who joined in; you may get another chance to win some goodies so hang on in there.
