Quote of the week:

“Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at it destination full of hope.” Maya Angelou

Latest Updates:

*** This past week has been a bit slower in the jump shoot area but I have been busy at work on the back end of my project, organizing, preparing, admisitration, making contacts etc. Hints of fall are in the air and I am feeling the pull to move on to my next adventures soon....

*** I am still in the process of healing my ankle injury from a few months ago but still managd to do a couple of jump photo self-portraits at the base of Lions Gate Bridge before meeting up with David Blair who jumped it up on the bridge. I also managed a few jumping self-portraits on the base of the slope at Whistler where and caught a couple of jumping hula hoop shots of my dear friend Deborah Low (Richards).. another fantastic week :)

*** I'm also kind of excited to announce that my jumping photos will be gracing the cover and throughpout the pages of the September issue of Living Now Magazine which claims to be Austrilais largest Wholistic Magazine.  They have selected one of the gorgous images of the lovely Honeybee Henderson as the cover model, who will also be featured in next weeks Jump for Joy! Newsletter :)

Featured Jumper of the week: Christopher O'Brocto!

Christopher O'Brocto ... From: Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois Lives: I live in Los Angeles, CA, having moved here 5 years ago from the fabulous, NYC! Work: I am a professional actor, whose primary body of work lies in musical theater. In addition, I've been in movies, t.v., commercials, voice overs, talk radio, and most recently traveled the world singing! I also own a private limousine business, catering to the music, acting & sports industries.

Q: What inspires you to want to jump for joy?
A: Life, and the daily serving of opportunity that it brings! Also, my beautiful wife who truly is one of God's Angels~

Q.What was your experience like doing the jumping photos?
A: It was a wonderful experience, loaded with simplistic creativity! An alley, a motorcycle, and Eyoalha's smile and enthusiasm! I felt like there was nothing I couldn't jump over on that day!

Q: What inspires you in life?
A: A babies smile, people who continue to love life even when negativity/drama creeps into their world, and music, which in it's many forms can make me laugh, cry, feel nostalgic, full of love, etc., thus creating a connection to life that all comes from within~

Q: What is/are your greatest passion(s) in life?
A: From a 'work' standpoint, I'm very passionate about singing/performing. It's a true gift to be able to stand on a stage and take an audience into a world of fantasy for a few hours, where there are none of their own bills, headaches, yelling bosses, etc. to have to deal with.... I want to leave this planet better then I found it. One way I do that is to pick up a stray piece of garbage every day. Think about it ~ what would our cities look like if every person picked up just one piece of garbage everyday and threw it away?

Q: What is your driving force in life?
A: My desire to learn, to NEVER stop learning/growing and to completely trust my inner thoughts and feelings ~ as I continue to live that way, I become a better husband, father, son, brother, neighbor, friend and a true example of how precious and beautiful this gift of life is.

Q: What is your philosophy in life?
A: People make life harder than it needs to be ~ And at the end of the lifes road, to check out saying, "Holy s**t, what a ride"!!

Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A: Anything? I'd uplift the soul of every person who I came in contact with, no matter the situation. And the way I'm consciously living my life has me working (on a daily basis) towards that goal.

Q: What work/art/projects are you working on?
A: I want us to support each other. So somebody cut you off, or cut in line in front of you, or is playing their music to loud, etc. We have two choices: love them or hate them. If we hate them, we hurt inside. If we love them, unconditionally, WE feel good inside. If we all felt that love inside, this really would be heaven on earth.

Q: Interesting facts about you or something special you want to share.
A: I'm tall~
