LADY LONDONDERRY

This classic afternoon tea blend has hints of strawberry with lemon overtones. It is one of our most requested teas for tea parties, and is a great favorite iced.

Edith, Marchioness of Londonderry was known as Lady Londonderry after her husband inherited the title of "7th Marquess of Londonderry" in 1915.  Londonderry is the second largest city in northern Ireland. Lady Londonderry helped her husband set up an Officers' Hospital at the beginning of the First World War in one of their several houses, the fabulous Londonderry House in London, and was the first woman to be appointed to be a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the Military Division.

Virtual Tour

Recently Google put up a panoramic walk-through of our store online. You can access it though Google Maps, or just click on the image above. If you have not been to the store in a while, you will see some things have changed!

At the time the pictures were taken we were doing a promotion with Book Works for "Where's Waldo". He is hidden somewhere in the store; do you think you can find him? If you do find Waldo,  e-mail me for a special tea prize!

While you are over at Google Maps, don't forget that you can review us!
