Teraneh and Adam King ... From: Vancouver Live: near the beautiful Granville Island. Work: Teraneh - I have a private practice in expressive arts therapy and counselling in Vancouver, and enjoy supporting others in living joyful lives. Adam - I work in maternal and child health as the Lead for Health Promotion at Perinatal Services BC, and have had the opportunity to work on projects internationally in Sri Lanka, Russia, Bangladesh, Syria, and Tanzania.

Q: What inspires you to want to jump for joy?
A: Celebrating our love and the jeux de vivre! Every day is a great day to be alive and on the day of the photo shoot, we were joyously celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary and 8 years of being together.

Q.What was your experience like doing the jumping photos?
A: It was exhilarating, creative, and fun! We felt alive, joyous, young and positive.

Q: What inspires you in life?
A: The arts, dancing, making music, thinking of creative and positive projects, the ocean, the mountain, the wind, the sun... nature in general. And also people who live with an abundant mindset and open heart.

Q: What is/are your greatest passion(s) in life?
A: Creating, and creating with others. We love how the creative process is so illuminating and supportive, life-affirming and life-giving. We are passionate about living life fully and doing things that bring us alive, because the more of an inspired, impassioned life we are able to live, the more positive our interactions can be with our friends, families, communities and the more we will be able to offer the world.

Q: What is your driving force in life?
A: TK- To be the best version of me I can be, so that I can know I added something positive to this world in my lifetime... What drives me, is the intention of living a wholehearted life.

A: AK- What Taraneh said!

Q: What is your philosophy in life?
A: It's a great day to be alive. And......"Try not to be a person of success, but rather a person of value" - Einstein

Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A: TK - I would be teaching expressive arts therapy in numerous countries year round, including expressive arts schools and also medical schools. I am passionate about facilitating and about expressive arts therapy and I also see a great deal of room for this field to grow and be of support to other professions such as medicine... to bring the ART back to medicine... that would be a dream come true. I am working towards this goal by facilitating workshops locally and getting involved in teaching in local programs. I love that I am making it happen one step at a time!

A: AK - I would love to set up an international centre dedicated to the study and promotion of 'balance' as an organizing principle in health, economics, organizational development, education, urban design, agriculture, etc. Currently still in the wonderful dreaming phaze, but I am building my skill set and network so that one day....when the time is ripe....I can help make it happen!

Q: What work/art/projects are you working on?
A: TK - I am currently accepting new clients in my practice and often have arts-based workshops.

A: AK - I volunteer on the Board of Directors for Educo Adventure School, and love spreading the word about the positive and life-changing work of this non-profit that provides wilderness based experiential-learning opportunities for youth. Check out http://www.educo.ca/ to find out more about this inspiring place!

Q: Interesting facts about you or something special you want to share.
A: TK - I feel blessed to have Adam as my partner... the love we share is gorgeous and precious and vibrant. I am grateful to jump into life every day with this beautiful man by my side. And I hope that our jumps into life can ripple out joy and love into the world around us.
A: Taraneh said it best! I feel blessed.

The photos of Teranah and Adam were taken around Greanville Island, Vancouver, BC Canada.
