HOME Certified Specialist - Rental Housing Compliance
This course focuses on the on-going compliance requirements for HOME rental properties. It will provide an in-depth and applied discussion of topics such as inspections, rents, income documentation, and sales of units to tenants during the affordability period. It will also discuss strategies for asset management, owner reporting, monitoring of rental properties, sales during the affordability period and addressing troubled rental projects.  To view a full course description and agenda, visit www.hometa.info. 
 
Who Should Attend
Participants need to have passed the HOME Certified Specialist Program-Regulations exam and have at least one year of experience in working with HOME rental programs, or have five years of experience in working with HOME rental programs to attend this session.  This course is a more advanced version of the Rental Housing Compliance class and it includes an exam.
