Quote of the week:

“Play keeps us vital and alive. It gives us an enthusiasm for life that is irreplaceable. Without it, life just doesn't taste good” - Lucia Capocchione

Latest Updates:
*** I love Kauai, Hawaii!
Kauai has been just incredible so far... I am bursting with joy at the beauty of the nature and feel so welcomed and taken care of everywhere I go... so much so that I have decided to extend my stay for one more week to do as many jumping photos as I can on this stunning island :)

*** Yesterday I had the great pleasure of being a guest on Taj Jure's live radio talk show, Transformational Tea with Taj on KKCR.org (90.9, 91.9 or 92.7 on your radio if you live in Kauai). It was my first time on live radio and I had such a fun time.

Taj was such a graceful host and my dear friend Anna Olvera joined in on the fun as we spoke about the fun we had doing our jumping photos together and positive aspects of Jumping for Joy! Next week, I am also very excited to do jumping photos with Lilou Mace who will be interviewing me for her inspirational web TV Show called:
LILOU MACE - We are the shift... So lots of fun stuff coming up for me here in Kauai :)

*** In my first week here in Kauai, I have had the extreme pleasure of meeting some really amazing people and doing jumping photo shoots on several different locations on the island...

We spent one afternoon with the lovely family of Harry Kaaumoana Jr, Bea and Paulina Ann (owner of
Emma Spencer Stylewho did some impressive cliff jumping. Then I met the lovely Aakara Grace of Soul Light Love and did some beautiful jumps along the shore with her and her hula hoop on the North Shore. I climbed the "sleeping giant" mountain, taking photos along the way with Richard Diamond - publisher of HeartBeat of Kauai, where we met a lost hiker: Diana Branum Leone who jumped for joy with us before heading down the mountain....

Later in the week, I drove to the South Shore to meet up with Ken Lardizabal and we did some great jumps along gorgeous cliffs in Koloa. And then... one of my highlights of the trip, I went paddle boarding with wild dolphins and a sea turtle then did paddle board jumps with Taj Jure, Marc Andree and Sarab Sara - Oh how I wish I had a water proof camera!! Another highlight was helping in the preparation of a huge feast of traditional style cooking.. with a couple of jump shots while harvesting Taro with Sage and Uni. What a great week :)

*** I would like to extend a special thank you to my dear friend Anna Olvera, who has set up my accommodation, lent me her car to explore the island and introduced me to so many lovely people here in Kauai... you are an angel Anna :)

*** If you are living in Kauai, or know someone here that might like to jump for joy with me, please email me at: info@jumpforjoyphotoproject.com to set up a shoot. I'm already looking forward to creating fun art with you!! :)

Q: What inspires you to want to jump for joy?
A: New hope.

Q. What was your experience like doing the jumping photos?
A: Exhilarating! I was sleepy in the morning, and my whole day changed. I felt like a sea angel floating, bouncing. Like I could leap tall buildings!

Q: What inspires you in life?
A: People who follow their dreams. Underdogs who go for it despite the odds. The ocean, the struggle, chocolate macaroons from Organic Lives. ;-)

Q: What is/are your greatest passion(s) in life?
A: My greatest passions are adventures to new lands. Showing up some place I've never been like arriving on the moon, and exploring freely like a newborn babe. I love to travel, to experience parts of myself that I never knew.

Q: What is your driving force in life?
A: To feel completely and utterly full up of gratitude at all times. To experience this, I think would be the highest loving state a person could exist in.

Q: What is your philosophy in life?
A: Be Big.

Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A: If I could do anything in the world, it would be to create and host my own travel show, that features female entrepreneurs all around the world. I've created the pilot, but no, not currently working on this. wtf. I'm getting on this train again.

Q: What work/art/projects are you working on?
A:I recently played a yoga teacher on the show psych. Not sure if I would include that as an art project, but was super fun because it combined so many of my favorite worlds!

Q: Interesting facts about you or something special you want to share.
A: I am running a 230K race through the Jungle in Costa Rica in February. Oh my goodness.

All photos of Allie were taken at Kitsilano Beach aka Kits Beach in Vancouver, BC Canada.
