Public meeting: City Council Workshop with RIDOT re Memorial Blvd Bike Lanes
Bike Newport supports RIDOT recommendations to add bike lanes and shared lanes to Memorial Blvd (a state road). The plan will be presented by RIDOT to the Newport City Council at a dedicated open meeting. All are welcome to attend.
To be a Bicycle Friendly Community and in the spirit of our Complete Streets resolution, we must consider the safety of our cyclists and pedestrians equally to the convenience of motorists. Please join us at this important forum.
