Welcome to Finergy News

Greetings!

I would like to welcome you to our new "Finergy News" letter. This letter will regularly update you on our projects and our company.

In this first issue, we hope that you will be as excited as we are to learn about our Downtown Finergy Building earning the LEED CS Silver Certification, the distinctions received by our high-end custom home division, Homes by Finergy at the SRQ Magazine Home of the Year Awards Ceremony and the progress of our Hampton Inn and Suites Project at the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport.

In each issue, we will highlight a sustainable, eco-friendly strategy that we apply to our company. This month, the Finergy Green Highlight section features the solar hot water system installled at the SRQ Hampton Inn and Suites Project.

Please let us know if you've enjoyed reading the letter and contact us if you have any questions/suggestions.

Sincerely,

Eric Collin
Executive Vice-President

Jobsite Update
The Hampton Inn and Suites by the Sarasota Airport is moving towards the final stages of construction. The roof of the hotel is complete and the building is now dry. Currently we are going through rough-in inspections which include: plumbing, electrical, hvac, framing and fire sprinkler. The parking lot grading is on schedule and should be done by the end of the month. Exterior stucco has been started and we are applying a very distinctive and unique style to our building elevations that should surprise our guests and visitors!

Solar panels will soon be installed onto the roof of the Hampton Inn and Suites Hotel by the Sarasota Airport. The panels are part of the ProgressivTube Passive Water Heating System which will be used to store and heat water. This solar water heating system will generate up to 1,715,500 kBTU per year.

The recently finished 17,000 sf custom home project on Sarasota Bay in North Sarasota was chosen for the SRQ Home of the Year Awards. The house known as "Indian Mound Residence", due to its proximity to a protected archeological site, took home three awards.
The house was the 2009 Platinum Winner for Overall Home over $3,000,000, Platinum Winner for "Kitchen" and Gold Winner for "Outdoors".
Enzo Gagliardi, Eric Collin and John Pichette (Architect) attended the ceremony and received the awards from Lisl Liang (SRQ Media Group).
