On
December 1st, 2011, as part of the SIMI,

President of Finergy,

and Tourism at Euro Disney.
"It's a great honor and an immense privilege for Finergy to be
associated with a partner of the caliber of Euro Disney for the
launch of our first hotel project in Europe" said Eric Collin,
Executive Vice President of Finergy at the official ceremony attended
by the top management of Euro Disney and Finergy.
The project will be built on 5.4 acres in the heart of the business
park, just minutes from Disneyland®
Paris, the first tourist destination in Europe, but also within
close range of the future Villages Nature,
a theme park co-founded by Euro Disney due to open in early 2015.
Finergy will cooperate with an internationally renowned hotel operator
for the management of the two upscale hotels of 96 and 154 rooms. The
hotel's branding
will be announced in the coming months.
A building permit application was filed just a few days ago on
Thursday, December 15, 2011.
The
project will include a restaurant, an indoor pool, a fitness
center, meeting rooms, free WiFi internet access and many other
services. A lake will
be created as well as numerous walking trails and bike paths to
encourage alternative means of transportation.
Both buildings are aiming for the top of the environmental
certifications:
BBC (low-energy building), HQE (high environmental quality) and also
LEED©.
