Artist Profiles: Tim Yanke and Robert Kipniss
Tim Yanke in Downtown Publications
After working in the corporate world for nearly 20 years, local Birmingham artist Tim Yanke traded his cubicle for creativity to become a full-time abstract painter. He hasn't looked back since. Whether it's painting hearts or painting from the heart, Yanke recognizes everyone's style is different, but as an abstract artist he said you will never find him painting "dime a dozen" cabins or puppies.
Robert Kipniss in Berkshire Style
The hauntingly beautiful paintings and lithographs of Sharon, CT, artist Robert Kipniss command widespread respect among art lovers everywhere. His monochromatic vistas have been featured in thirty-seven museums in the US alone and he has recently added to this body of work a new book - his fourth - titled "Robert Kipniss, a Working Artist’s Life.“
