you're invited to...
manhattans' wine + food tasting
fundraiser for The Guelph Lecture - On Being Canadian
hello manhattans' fans!
Here's something fun for you to do in October! I have always wanted to have a wine + food tasting @ the club, so I have asked our chef along with our wine guru to put together an amazing 5 course pairing of food and drink. Mix that with a killer sexy band (Indigo Riff) and 'voila' you've got a party! This exciting event will take place on Wed. Oct. 17th with cocktails @ 6:30pm and the tasting beginning @ 7pm. There is very limited seating and reservations are required...oh yes, there will be local donations of art, wine, books, music, as well as a very special trip to New York City up for silent auction. Tickets are 100.00 and all proceeds go towards supporting The 10th Annual Guelph Lecture - On Being Canadian.
Join me, won't you?

with-sneakers sound' - The Londoner |
Featured players, Indigo Riff appear monthly at manhattans and can also be heard on CBC Radio. This entertaining, class act can be described as a jazzy-blues flavour, liberally spiced with sass and sophistication. A perfect sound to suit your dining pleasures. The band consists of Karyn Kirkwood (vocals), Dean Macdonald (drums), Bob McFee (piano), and David Atkinson (bass).
