StartUp Health Fellow Spotlight: Brian T. Edwards, Chicago

Brian is a Fellow at StartUp Health, where he puts his passion for healthcare and health tech to work helping develop the StartUp Health Network and supporting the Healthcare Transformers in StartUp Health Academy. In addition to his work at StartUp Health, Brian is Senior mHealth Analyst for iMedicalApps.com, the leading online publication for medical professionals, patients, and analysts interested in mobile medical technology and health care apps. As project manager for the BR-Med Connect Prehospital Telemedicine Network in East Baton Rouge Parish, Brian oversaw the design, development, and deployment of a prehospital STEMI network, as well as coordinated the participation of several public agencies, regional health systems, and private vendors. Brian advises numerous startups, research institutions, investors, and providers on digital health strategy, business development, and best practices including Wave Technology Group, MedStartr, and Healthgrid.org.
