This custom build by Robbie O’Brien exhibits beautiful craftsmanship. This is one powerful, well voiced OM suitable for stumming or fingerstyle tastes with incredible string separation and warm resonance that only a master builder can create. The lows are open even when fretting past the 7th fret and the highs are shimmering smooth throughout the fretboard. This one of a kind guitar brings an elegance and playability that captivates and is hard to put down! “The Orchid” has been exhibited and is certainly a show stopper.
 
The Parrot has the entire shop drooling! This OM is lush with sustain and overtones larger guitars strive for. Beautifully balanced string character over the entire fretboard. Warm and articulate, exactly what we’ve come to expect from an O’Brien. This guitar is a fingerpickers dream, but add a flat pick and this little OM voices the whoof of a dread ! Honest rich lows , perfect mids, silky highs compliment any player style. To say this is a versatile instrument would be a gross understatement ! From its superior Mastergrade woods, to the voice, to the inlay work, this is a great instrument. This guitar has been exhibited and blew people away with its volume, sustain, playability and good looks!

 
At first blush this OM hints of tradition, simple but elegant, but the craftsmanship and sound suggests tradition on steroids! This “Clark Kent” of a guitar has that earthy voice sought by singer songwriters and fingerstyle players alike. Articulate with just the right amount of warmth, sustain, and definition. Add a plectrum and the mids project with the power to leap tall buildings . Plenty of volume to more than hold its own when out-numbered in picking circles, yet very responsive to dynamic phrasing.
