We have an assignment

I don't plan on keeping you in suspense very long, so here we go. We have been asked to start a new ministry in Wiesbaden, Germany. This is a great opportunity for Cadence to reach Soldiers on a base that hasn't had a Hospitality House presence before. What a tremendous blessing!
The hardest part about all this is the wait. We know where God is sending us and we really want to go. But we now practice our patience and wait for everything to fall in place so we can leave. When we initially shared our financial goals with everyone (including even last month's newsletter) we had an idea of what it would take to get us overseas. Things have changed a little bit. Starting a new ministry has a lot more expense over the first year and our needs have risen greatly. Will you please do us a favor? Will you pray for God to quickly meet our financial needs? Where is Wiesbaden?

Wiesbaden is a large city of 280,000 people located in southwest Germany just to the west of Frankfurt. There are approximately 10,000 U.S Army Soldiers and their families there currently.

How?

We hear this everywhere. But how can you truly show support for your troops? As a Christian, I say send missionaries to prepare their hearts before battle and help heal their hearts afterward. They have the proper weapons for battle, let's help them protect their souls.
