Visitors from the US, Europe and Canada enjoyed Newport Bicycle Tours throughout its first summer season, reports NBT leader and Bike Newport VP, Steve Heath, Watch for expanded NBT historic bike tours of Newport in 2013!

Steve also reports exciting growth at THE BIKE GARAGE at Rogers High School: Met School and Rogers HS students practice mechanics with Steve and Newport Bicycle owner Rob Purdy; and Newport County Middle School students practice bike skills at the afterschool INCASE program. Additionally, Steve's Met School students logged more than 400 bike miles as part of the school's Health and Wellness program.  It's all related, says Steve, "Riding inspires students to want to repair bikes!" Contact Steve for more information about the Bike Garage.
