Storm Preparation
In preparation for the storm, you and/or your property management company should make every attempt to secure your property. All outdoor furnishings, trash cans, and any loose items should be properly secured. If you are staying for the storm, review the contents of your emergency supplies kit to ensure you have adequate supplies in the event that you are without power, water, or transportation for more than 72 hours.
Trash Information
Both regular and recycling trash pick up are still scheduled for Monday, October 29, 2012. It will be picked up a little later in the morning due to weather conditions. Please be advised, that because of the storm it is recommended that trash containers be rolled out to the curb Monday morning instead of Sunday evening. This will lessen the chance of containers becoming wind hazards, as well as reduce any flying trash debris due to the projected strong winds. This is subject to change as conditions change.
