Hello Friends,
It feels like October is flying by.  So many exciting events filled with frinds, fun and of course yoga.  I have been to two yoga festivals this month, I have one week to go on my 40 day challange and the next teacher training program has begun at Corepower.  I am a sore and a little tired but extremely inspired.  The Yoga Journal Confernce in beautiful Estes Park bought together teachers from all over with different styles and backrounds.  I had the opportunity to attend the main weekend conference and took workshops with Ana Forresst, Maty Ezraty, Tias Little, Dharma Mittra and many more.  I also had the opportunity to put on daily Acroyoga demos with Yuki Tsuji-Hoening, Paul Robinson, Ryan Hamity, and Mia Strickland. Tons of fun!!!  The next weekend was fully devoted to Acroyoga as I travelled to San Francisco for the Divine Play Festival.  400 Acroyogis from all over the world converged for a three day Acro extravaganza.   There was popping, spinning, bone stacking and lots of high flying tricks follwed by therepuetics.  I am less than one week from completing my 40 day challange, but I'll save that for the next newsletter.  The 200 hour Corepower teacher training started this week and I am truly inspired by this group.  This will be my fourth time coaching the program and each time I feel more connected to my role as a guide and a deeper appreciation for the process and the courage it takes to go on this journey.

While summer is gone there are still beautiful days here in Boulder, Colorado.  I will leave you with images of two of my favorite past times.  One that has been with me for a while and is my summer passion, wake surfing, and one that is fairly new to me but I plan on practicing all year round, slacklining.

This Sunday!!!  Oct 21: Acro with Raj Seymour
Work in groups of three and all learn the basic arts of Flying, Basing, and Spotting. Experience the strength of holding someone up effortlessly through bone stacking, flying weightless in traditional yoga poses, and creating a safe environment by learning spotting techniques.
