We are excited to be home in Canada for Christmas.

We're Looking Forward to Canada and Christmas

In a little over two weeks from now Makara, Noah, and I will head to the airport in Bangkok and spend the following 26 hours on planes, trains, and automobiles (well, no trains) making our way to Edmonton.

We would like to wish a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our friends and supporters. Perhaps we will be able to see many of you while we're in Canada.

We would ask that you please pray for us...

1) That our flight will go well and that Noah will be a model of perfect obedience to all the other children on board the flight.

2) That Makara will be comfortable for the entire trip as she is now nearly six months pregnant.

3) That while in Canada we will be able to get some good rest and spend some good time with our family and our friends.

4) That our school will run well while we are gone under the leadership of the school's director: Srai Sim.

We hope that you all enjoy this time of year and that it will be relaxing for you!

School Christmas Party

I was able to make arrangements for all our students to receive a shoe box Christmas gift from Samaritan's Purse "Operation Christmas Child".

While we are in Canada our school's staff will be hosting a Christmas party for all the students and their parents. They will share a meal together, the kids will sing songs they learned in school for their parents, and they will receive the shoe box gifts.

We also have some Bible comics for the kids and new Bibles for any parents who are interested. It will be a great time to build strong community between the families and the school.
