Change can be good!
Change can be considered good or bad. Sometimes we do not like to see changes, especially when we get used to life the way it is. However, life is constantly changing, and the best way we can deal with this is to make friends with change. Change can be welcome if we are in a situation that is not working, and a new path or method needs to happen to help us to grow in a better direction. Here are some thoughts about change I have been chewing over during the past season:
1. Evaluation.
We need to take time out to reflect. It is good to ask ourselves, what is working and what is not working. If you find out a part of your plan is not working for you, it is best to make the changes necessary. If a program is working for you, maybe you will want to make changes to make the program even better. Evaluating the different aspects of your business, processing, planning and implementing changes is a good practice to get into.
2. Ego and fear.
Ego and fear are two reasons why we are uncomfortable with change. How dare something change on us! Underneath the bravado, we might be scared that we do not know how to handle the change. Do we have the ability to learn something new? In order to come to a place of increase, we need to push past ego and fear. When we are able to, we have the space to continue forward. Going forward brings us closer to new possibilities, and we will ultimately get closer to our goals too.
