The National Space Centre, UK played host to the world premiere of We Are Aliens! on Wednesday night. In this newsletter we've got some pictures from the event and the exciting reveal of our fabulous narrator...

We Are Aliens! the World Premiere

On Wednesday 10 October 2012 we rolled out the black carpet (it's much more spacey than red!) and invited some very special guests to see the premiere of We Are Aliens! The National Space Centre that hosted the event, put on some wonderful treats including slime workshops, a gourmet popcorn buffet and there was even a contraption that makes the most delicious liquid nitrogen frozen ice-creams!
The evening had two showings in the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium with rapturous applause at the end of each show. The members of the team that had survived the production intact came up to take a bow, with Paul Mowbray taking questions from our guests. These included the age old question, "Who are the 1.0s?"

And Finally...
Back in September the National Space Centre hosted BAP 2012 (British Association Planetaria Conference). The annual event sees both portable and fixed planetaria folk meeting to talk about best practice, this year they even shared horror stories from the planetarium!
