What we do every month to get the youth inspired!
Alternative action sports
-GlobalGiving September Challenge- A very big thank you goes out to all who supported us in September in this challenge. We needed to raise $4000 from 50 unique donors in order to earn a permanent spot on the GlobalGiving website that will enable us to receive donations from USA. God is so good and you guys are so supportive! We made it! Thanks Lord!
-Fanie back from Paralympics- Now that Fanie is back from London he gets asked to do talks all over. He came to some of the skate clubs to share his experience and show the kids his medal.
-Shoes and wheels- Thanks Revolution for supporting the I2B guys.
 
-Planetshakers youth demo
-Setting up the Cloetesville skate park by Rietenbos Primary School
We started working on a way to stop the erosion with tires.
-Birthday- The Strand skim club has grown a lot and we also celebrated one of the new club girl's birthday.
-Mozambique skim clinic- Over the September holiday I2B joined Handsdown in Mozambique for a skimboard clinic. The kids and their parents loved it!
Athletics for youth with disabilities
-The London 2012 Paralympic Games- We thank the Lord for all the miracles and testimonies that came out of the games, for example Ilse that ran and jumped with a tore quad muscle and still defended her titles successfully, Anika who finished her 100m race after picking up a stress fracture in her back at the start of her race, Charl who finished strong in the 800m with a severely injured foot, Marius going out with confidence onto the track and ran his 400m race with a champion mentality "all or nothing"! I believe everyone, through their victories and disappointments can testify of how they grew through this experience and that living life to the full is so much more worth than that gold medal everyone dream about.
Opportunities at Cloetesville High School- Fanie and Anrune were guest speakers at the Matric Fair well and Fanie also went to go speak to the learners at the high school.
