What keeps you from following your dreams and fulfilling God;s calling on your life?

Good morning!  Thank you so much for offering to pray every day for us until we reach 100% funding and move into a new phase of our work withThe Seed Company as members of Wycliffe Bible Translators:

Fully Funded Missionaries making a difference throughout the world

After the Lord started talking to me about rekindling my love for linguistics and getting "back in the saddle" earlier this year, The Seed Company paid for John and me to take a course from Kingdom Come ministries (their graphic above) to learn how to tell our stories and invite people to partner with us in our vision. We asked you to pray daily until our remaining need (40% of our budget) is met.

 So what's holding me back?

I soon discovered that the biggest obstacles to this taking place have been inside of me. In the journey God has taken all of us on this year, He has spoken to my heart in some unmistakeable ways. I'd like to use this forum over the next 3 weeks or so (while John is in Nigeria), to share some of those things with you, so you can pray with me more specifically against the enemy's lies. I think some of my struggles may be universal -- all of us have dreams from God and have to fight our own (and Satan's) inclinations to sabotage them.  I hope you find encouragement too -- some small reward for the work you have done and continue to do on our behalf and on behalf of the people we impact with our linguistics and translation work.

John is safely in Nigeria (his 3-day trip turned into 4 with a state border closing) and the team is working hard.  Hannah went to the hospital this weekend, but her blood pressure has normalized.  She is past her due date now and "Michael" seems in no hurry to enter this world.

My verse for today is the advice Mary gave to people like us who needed a miracle:
"Do whatever he tells you."

See you tomorrow,
      Barb
