KU alumna named Rhodes finalist

Julia Barnard, a May 2012 graduate of KU, has advanced in the competition for one of 32 prestigious Rhodes scholarships awarded annually for graduate study at Oxford University in England.

Russell Berman with Stanford University will speak at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in the Hall Center Conference Hall. His lecture is titled "Is the Ivory Tower an Iron Cage? Redesigning Doctoral Education in the Humanities.”
