Fall in Central Wisconsin is a sight to see. Adding to the wonderful colors of the trees is the big business of cranberry marshes. The end of September through October is harvest time so Prof. Elizabeth Martin and a group of 24 School of Business & Economics students visited Glacial Lake Cranberries on Oct. 18 to learn about its operations. Students volunteering for Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign
The red kettles and bell ringers are out and the Salvation Army expects to benefit from a number of new volunteers from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, including students from the Health Science 490 course. They’ve been signing up people for a few weeks already, and will have signup tables Monday through Wednesday at the Dreyfus University Center and the Health Enhancement Center. Read More

ROTC Joint Field Training Exercise (JFTX) at Fort McCoy
Every year, the UW-Stevens Point ROTC Department puts on the Joint Field Training Exercise (JFTX) and this year was no exception. The Pointer Battalion put on an exhilarating, high-tempo event. With students from MSL 101 and MSL 201, the Pointer Battalion set out for a very fun filled Saturday at Fort McCoy, Wis. iPads in Physical Education
