Upcoming Webinar: Using the Income Calculator for Rental and TBRA Programs - November 15, 2012 - 2 pm EST
HUD will be featuring a webinar on how to use the newly launched CPD Income Eligibility Calculator to determine and document the Adjusted Income, and Rental Assistance amounts for CPD Program beneficiaries. The webinar will provide grantees with an overview of how the calculator works and the benefits of using it for the distinct aspects of rental and tenant-based rental assistance activities. In addition, the webinar will discuss basic income determination requirements and documentation. Finally, self-certifications and governmental agency recertification will be briefly discussed. A question and answer session focused on using the CPD Income Eligibility Calculator will follow the presentation.

This webinar is designed for grantees using HOME, HOPWA, CDBG, CDBG Disaster Recovery, BEDI, Section 108, and/or NSP for rental housing activities where adjusted income is used (i.e., ability to pay for rent and utilities), including tenant based rental assistance programs. Case studies will be provided using Part 5 for Adjusted Income and Rental Assistance calculations. A prior webinar will cover Annual Income (i.e., general program eligibility), so participants should either attend the Annual Income webinar or be familiar with how to calculate Annual Income prior to attending this webinar.

Please join us on Thursday, November 15, at 2 pm EST.

Webinar materials will be posted to the NSP Learning Center as they become available. Please visit the NSP Learning Center prior to joining the webinar.

Asking a Question within the Conference Call/Live Meeting
Throughout the presentation, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

During the call, the operator will control the line of questions. In order to join the queue to ask a question press *1 on your touch-tone phone; the operator will mute your phone until it is your turn to ask a question. If your question is answered before you get the opportunity to ask it, you can remove yourself from the queue by pressing *2.

You may also submit your question via Live Meeting rather than asking it verbally. Change your status to “Purple: Question” then type in your question via the Q&A box on the Live Meeting toolbar. Once your question has been answered, be sure to change your status back to “Green: Proceed.”
