Quimazon
What's Quimazon? Are you looking for something you want to buy from us but we don't have it? Online shopping for books or media? Why not kick down a bit to Quimby's? If you want to order stuff we don't normally carry, you don't have to go to online megastores like Amazon. Instead, consider ordering from a wholesale distributor we hooked up with, using a service we snarkily call Quimazon. They can ship items from their warehouse to you directly. You get 25% off, and you can ship it wherever you want for cheap. We get a small kickback for directing you to them, and it allows us to compete with those on-line big box stores. They carry a wide variety of fiction, graphic novels, poetry, art and design books, screenplays, text books, CDs, DVDs, Blu-Ray, calendars and more.

Chicago Zine Fest 2013 will take place March 8 & 9. Registration opens December 10! CZF is an independent event that creates an outlet for small press and independent publishers to showcase their work. CZF's mission is to make DIY zine-making accessible, highlight the talents of self-published artists, and give independent artists a chance to interact, and swap skills through tabling, community events, and workshops. Every year it gets bigger and more expensive to do, so CZF needs your help in funding. Check out  the awesome prizes you get for contributing at different levels at their indiegogo campaign at indiegogo.com/czfbff! Some of the prizes include official CZF merch, like buttons, tote bags, new comp zines, thanks on their site, prints, free tabling space at the fest, books, a tattoo session with art superstar Alana Robbie (!!!!) and more. P.S. Go to their campaign site even just to watch the cutest video ever, with art by the lovely and talented Laura Berger, the official CZF 2013 artist.
