And some updates about what's happening over here.

We also have a new investment to announce, while there is still no official release on it - "read it here first" :) - In April 2012 we agreed to invest in tab ticketbroker and the company surge beyond 1mln EUR in revenue already 2012. Read more about this company further down.
What else happened this year? For the 3rd time we organized the "founderstable" on October 5th. This time in our office and with a European crowd from London, Italy, Sweden and Switzerland. 30 VCs, Angels and Entrepreneurs celebrated at the same time our 1st anniversary. We also co-organized and hosted the first VC open office day (VC LOVE IN BERLIN) on November 28th. Balderton, Battery Ventures, BDMI, DN Capital, Earlybird, eden ventures, e.ventures, Holtzbrinck Ventures, Mangrove, NorthCap, Partech, passion capital, redalpine, SevenVentures, Sunstone Capital and Wellington Partners where amongst the 100+ participants. Founders of 54 startups had a speed-dating opportunity with VCs in our office. We have published a short video about the event and also FridayatSix did a professional coverage / production ("what NOT to ask a VC").
Now, before everyone "goes home" and is getting stuffed with great meals, we'd like to take the opportunity to shout-out loud: thank you for a fantastic 2012. This has been a remarkable and outstanding time. Thank you for contributing and making it awesome! again! It has been a fascinating year for us, seeing both the first year of our angel fund and the growth of our portfolio companies. Also our joint-venture that we've formed with the Swiss based VC fund, Redalpine, accelerated things for us since summer 2012. We're depending on the ecosystem, our partners, advisors, testers, fellow founders and investors – essentially, on all you guys out there. Again, thank you so much for your support in 2012 – and have a great 2013.

 tab ticketbroker became one of Europe's leading ticket broker on the secondary market for event tickets, only 24 month after it's incorporation. With 7-figure revenues in 2012 trough 3rd party marketplace sales, tab ticketbroker starts to enter the direct consumer business in 2013.
