Butler Consulting helps organizations target grant seeking, fundraising, training and managing primarily in the Miami Valley of Ohio and nationwide since 1994

Welcome!

The goal of this newsletter is to connect with you and help with your grant seeking, training, capacity building and/or managing.  We've included many useful resources, but it's not the same as personal attention.  If you'd like some one-on-one consultation, just click reply and send us a message.  We'd love to help your organization get the money it needs to succeed!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! A Time To Celebrate and Offer Our Gifts!

During this holiday season, take time to pause, count your blessings, agree to disagree when needed, and celebrate your gifts. We are all “gifted” and can share our talents, skills and strengths in different ways. One way my church celebrates and provides gifts is by offering an “Alternative Christmas Market”. By giving a gift of charity in someone’s honor, it supports community needs such as Habitat for Humanity, Disaster Assistance or Interfaith Hospitality Network. Butler Consulting celebrates our gifts of grant seeking, fundraising, training, teaching, managing and capacity building by offering them to you - our clients, customers and supporters nationally for the last 18 years. We look forward to working together in 2013!

Co-Author of Book

Linda Gatten Butler, MSW, ACSW, LISW-S, is a co-author in a new book- “Grant Writing Revealed: 25 Experts Share Their Art, Science, and Secrets”- by Jana Jane Hexter. The book includes the wisdom of twenty-five of America’s top grant writing experts, who collectively have raised $1.7 billion dollars during their careers. This book along with a companion online self-assessment tool is available for the non-profit and social entrepreneur sectors, and is being gifted to the community by Ms. Hexter on her website. “People can download it and may choose to pay-it-forward in the same spirit,” says Hexter. “It is not an act of charity on my part but more gratefulness for the gift of life and recognition of our sacred interdependence. Our economy is changing and this is my attempt to create another reality worthy of our children’s future.” The book is also available on Amazon.
