Dear Friend,

Martin Scorsese has been kind enough to make an appeal for your support of the Alan Lomax Archive and ACE.

Martin Scorsese in support of ACE

Watch it now.
Your tax-deductible contribution will help provide the funding that we desperately need to continue to provide free access to the ACE Online Archive—nearly 1000 hours of audio and video recordings from the Alan Lomax Archive—as well as to support our Repatriation Projects and Teaching Resources that help local communities take pride in their great folk artists and traditional culture.

This year we did not receive modest but critically needed grants and foundation funding that supported this work in the past. Even with our small staff and low annual budget of $300,000, we need to raise $50,000 before December 31st to avoid staff cutbacks and to keep our current projects alive. Thus far, we have raised just over $6,200. So, if you appreciate and enjoy our online resources and share Alan Lomax's dedication to the cause of cultural equity, I invite you to become one of our donors and help us reach this $50,000 goal.

Your continued support means so much to ACE, and every dollar you donate will help to keep our programs alive.

Sincerely,

Don Fleming
