November C3 Winner

SSCV's core C3 values are Character, Courage & Commitment. Every month we recognize an athlete who embodies C3. Congratulations to the November winner: Molly McGrew!

Molly is a senior at VSSA and has skied with the club over the past 7 years. She has been battling injuries for the past couple years, but stays positive and motivated every day.

Pick up and drop off policies at the SSCV Clubhouse

The 2012-2013 winter season has already started for some and is beginning to start for others. As the club gets busier, we ask that you pay special attention to our guidelines for pick up and drop off. As many of you know, we have a small space to work with when you are dropping off and picking up your athletes. To ensure a smooth drop off and pick up process, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines, as printed in the 2012-2013 Parent/Athlete Handbook.

Mark your calendar for the Month Long Bring It On!

This January we are replacing the 4th Annual Downhill Dash with our newly consolidated scholarship fundraiser, the Epic “Month Long Bring It On”.  Instead of selling holiday trees and greenery, or raffle tickets, we are combining all of our efforts into this one all-important, MAJOR scholarship fundraiser.  The newly-formed  “Month Long Bring It On” ski/ride-a-thon is for ALL of our disciplines and our goal is to have ALL of our athletes participate.  There will be goals set for each discipline with prizes available to the highest goal achievers, as well as for the highest fundraisers.  We are looking forward to having one super fun and all-encompassing fundraiser.

Manor Vail Parking Spot Still Available!

Tired of the SSCV parking loop?  Now is your chance to own a parking spot across from the clubhouse and you'll never have to worry about parking again! Park Place are private parking condominiums located in the new underground garage at Manor Vail. It gives essentially the same location as the Passport Club at Gold Peak but is easier to get in and out and offers actual ownership of the spot.  Also included is a private locker room and a spacious locker, (the current owner has had 9 pairs of race skis with room to spare). Park in the surface lot immediately across the street from the clubhouse for additional convenient parking or in your assigned underground spot.

A portion of the proceeds from this sale will benefit SSCV so please be sure to reference the club when inquiring!  To view the listing click here and contact Alitza at Ron Byrne 970.471.5505 for more information.
