The weather is heating up, assessment is complete, reports are nearly finished... holidays are on their way! How will you be spending your holidays?

STAQ Senior Science Conference



The STAQ Senior Science Conference was attended by 190+ participants last Friday, 30 November, at Queensland University of Technology Gardens Point campus. The two keynote addresses were well-received and the 23 workshops were engaging and informative. Many participants commented that they enjoyed the chance to network with their peers as well. STAQ Annual General Meeting

16 STAQ Members attended the Annual General Meeting, also held last Friday at QUT Gardens Point. 2012 President Peta Jackson presented an Annual Report detailing the activities of STAQ in this year. 2012 Treasurer Angela Harper provided a report on the 2011-2012 finances and audit. President Peta Jackson was re-elected unopposed to the role of President for 2013. Both motions were accepted by STAQ Members. Read more... (Members Area; login required).

The annual STAQ Science is Primary Conference will be held on Saturday 23 March 2013 at Holland Park State School. Teachers and researchers interested in presenting a workshop or seminar at the conference are invited to share details of their workshop idea/s. Read more...
