Join CITYCENTRE for the district's 2^nd Annual Rudolph Fun Run, featuring the Dasher 10K, Rudolph 5K and Cupid 1K runs, plus photos with Santa! Costumes are encouraged and the participant with the best Christmas outfit will win a prize!

KHOU-TV Channel 11 team members, including Meteorologist David Paul, will be collecting new, unwrapped toys in the CITYCENTRE plaza with a drive-thru and drop-off donation spot benefiting The Salvation Army from 4-8 PM.  Look out for familiar secret Santas in the crowd or join in the fun as the station broadcasts live from CITYCENTRE during the 4, 5 and 6 PM newscasts. Further, The Salvation Army Harbor Light Choir will provide holiday music entertainment during the Toy Drive.

Since it began in 2001, KHOU 11’s toy drive has grown to become one of Houston’s largest toy collection efforts, generating nearly 25,000 gifts for area families in 2011.  Donations collected at KHOU 11 and its partner locations will be distributed through the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. 

The perfect place to ring in the New Year is CITYCENTRE on December 31—with an array of happenings from its many restaurants, retailers and lounges, plus special packages at Hotel Sorella! Beginning at 7 PM, the excitement builds with a DJ in the plaza, capped off as the clock strikes 12 with a fantastic fireworks show.

Kendra Scott will open her second Houston store later this year at CITYCENTRE, between Anthropologie and Hotel Sorella. Not only will this be the sought after designer’s largest boutique, but it will also feature a state-of-the-art, in-store Color Bar, where shoppers can help create their own pieces using two, 55-inch touch screens and multiple iPads.

Originally located in College Station, Texas, look for Grub Burger Bar upstairs, next to RA Sushi at CITYCENTRE. The restaurant features a menu that combines high-quality ingredients and chef-driven recipes both in the kitchen and bar—to deliver a truly unique experience. Customers can enjoy an in-house ground cheeseburger on a freshly baked bun and a frosty cold beer; or they can dive into a hand-chopped yellow fin ahi tuna salad with wasabi & ginger and a glass of wine. The chef will push the limit with weekly specials, but for those who want to enjoy the classics, Grub Burger will always have their staple cheeseburger, fries, and a milkshake.
