NFL Week 13 Free Picks

Thanks for your interest in NFLPicksPro. Here's my opinion about a few of the games not included in the Week 13 Premium Picks (4 games - $10).

If you're a new subscriber… I look at all the games closely and concentrate on how the  teams match up against one other in each phase of the game.  I also spend time looking at injuries, weather, schemes, etc… After I've completed the assessments I discuss the games with a few other handicappers I trust before making a decision on the plays.

I only handicap NFL, so that's where all my time is spent.  The write-ups don't always include detailed breakdowns, but the work has been done. The Premium Plays are the very bets I make each week. Good luck this week, let's win them all.

Cleveland -2 at Oakland

I don't make a habit of betting on 3-8 road favorites, but Cleveland looks like they've got a good thing going right now.  They're playing hard and have developed a tough running identity, easy to do with a beast like Richardson.  Oakland is terrible in their front seven, who've already given up 15 rushing TDs.  Rolando McClain (one of the top run stoppers) was told to stay away from the facility and suspended two weeks.  Pick: Browns

Philadelphia +10½ at Dallas

Wow, it takes guts to play this one.  If there's one thing that can get the Eagles fired-up…  it's the chance of serving a shit-burger at Jerryworld.  Dallas is a bad team and they're defense is severely injured.  I suspect the Eagles can put up enough points to stay close to stumble-doofus Romo and his little buddies. The real question in this game is why NBC stuck with it for Sunday Night Football?  Tampa and Denver deserve the spotlight this week. Boo NBC.  Pick: Eagles

Green Bay -8 vs Minnesota

Man, the Packers were bad last week.  New York showed everyone how to expose Green Bay, but I don't think the Vikings can replicate it.  Green Bay is still relevant and the last time they lost handily (week 1) they came back with a vengeful, dominating win over Chicago.  Peterson should have a decent game, but with Harvin out it'll be tougher for him to find huge gainers.  This game will hinge upon how well the Vikes can control Rodgers and I'm betting they can't.  Pick: Packers

Cincinnati -2 at San Diego

Applications are already being taken for the Chargers head coaching position, but maybe that's a good thing if you like San Diego +2.  Maybe… they'll play better now that there's no playoff pressure to deal with.  Could be, but that's not a sound handicapping formula. The Bengals are still focused on a playoff run and they need this game badly.  Dalton and Green are their best weapons, which spells big T-R-O-U-B-L-E for the terrible Charger pass defense.  That's the biggest head-to-head matchup either team has and it should be enough.  Pick: Bengals
