An old man gets a job!

Looking down the startline of my 31^st race season, I was wondering what to do…

Then Paul Searle from P&H Motorcycles said, if I swept the shop front, and did a good job, he might let me ride his bike to contest the Ducati 848 Challenge for him this year.

So, it looks as though I must have done a half reasonable job, as I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be riding the

P&H Motorcycles Öhlins Ducati

in the 848 Challenge this season.

Let’s look forward to a great season!

In 2012, from our 10 race finishes we got on the podium 7 times!
All things considered, we had a great season and were very happy to finish 4th overall in the challenge!

The bike’s the same, the team’s the same – so we’re all ready and raring to go - looking forward to the opening round at Brands Hatch.

I need to find some ‘running money’ to get me through the season; as you know I always give 100% racing on and then off the track; keeping my news reports and online ‘presence’ up to date. 1600 calendars dispatched!

It was hard work signing and getting so many calendars out the door this year. The cost of the post has almost killed the job! Thanks to some generous contributions received so far, nearly two thirds of the production / dispatch costs are covered, but I’ve still got some £680 yet to find.
