Organic Grass Fed Meats & More

Family-Owned Casa Rosa Farms

Casa Rosa Farms is a family-owned and operated organic farm located in Madera County & Capay Valley, California by Rachel & Anthony da Rosa. They certified their farm organic in 2009, continuing a tradition of sustainability that started when Anthony's grandparents emigrated from the Azores Islands and started dairying in Madera County in 1974.

The da Rosa's are committed to sustainable farming and ranching with the goal of passing their land onto the next generation, beginning with their one-year old daughter Olivia. They will be moving their home ranch to the Capay Valley this year while retaining both grazing land and olive orchards in the Madera County foothills, at the base of Yosemite National Park.

Rachel and Anthony's farm produces pastured lamb and range-grown beef fed only certified, organic hay. The lamb and grass-fed beef are grain free. They also create a variety of wonderful homegrown, handmade products that will make you feel good inside and out: certified organic olive oil; wool yarn from their sheep; and seasonal flowers and herbs. A line of their organic olive oil body products consists of a diaper salve, a hand salve, a lip balm and body oils.

Drop by to talk to Rachel and Anthony about their farm, you will be amazed at how much you can learn about where your food actually comes from - and we don't mean the super market.
