The moon rises at the Reallygoods Facility on our walk back from the Post Office
The Village of Nashotah (which means Twin Lakes) was incorporated in 1957 and has a population of 1387. Prior to that, Nashotah was an unincorporated part of the Town of Delafield and was a popular destination for train travelers.
The train station, was originally known as the Pine Lake Station but in 1875 was changed to the Nashotah Station. Unfortunately the train doesn't stop in Nashotah any longer, but probably a good thing....with our love of train travel, we may have hopped on board much too often!
Nashotah is home to the Red Circle Inn which is the oldest restaurant in Wisconsin. There is also a nice casual place, The Picnic Basket, which is a fun place for lunch if you ever come and visit us!! Yes, you can come visit and purchase some Reallygoods, but we're not here at all times, so it would be best to phone or email first!
