The OneCPD Resource Library and the redesign of the
OneCPD Resource Exchange are now live. CPD grantees and partners can now go to the OneCPD Resource Exchange to search for resources across all CPD programs. The library contains resources from the NSP Resource Exchange (hudnsphelp.info), Homelessness Resource Exchange (hudhre.info), HOMETA.info, HUD.gov, Comcon.org, and other sources.
Questions
If you have questions about the launch of the OneCPD Resource Library or experience any issues with finding resources, email
info@onecpd.info.
Search for Resources
To search for resources, use the search box in the banner or the
Advanced Search which you can access on the home page under the Resource Library.
The Advanced Search allows users to search by program, cross cutting requirement, reporting system, topic, resource type, and date published. We suggest always
entering a keyword with any advanced search filters you select to return the most relevant results.
The OneCPD search is powered by the Google Search Appliance. The search takes many factors into account in determining relevancy, including:
-
Frequency that keyword searches appear in a resource/document
-
Proximity and placement of keyword search terms
-
Appearance of keywords in the title
-
Frequency a document is downloaded by users
-
Links from other pages within the OneCPD Resource Exchange
The search engine is able to analyze the frequency of resource downloads, and use this analysis to automatically fine-tune and improve the relevancy of results over time. For instance, if most search users download the fourth result for a given query, the search recognizes that and automatically boosts up its placement in the search results.
