If you love art, supporting local business or recycling, this note is for you. :)
Choleena DiTullio, Ottawa Artist
Dear <<First Name>>, it's difficult to believe it but this month marks a year of bringing art news to you. I am honoured to be a full-time artist and to know so many art-lovers. You make my heart sing. Truly. Hugs and kisses because being an artist makes my heart sing. :)

I've been working very hard in the studio, and this month I am proud to announce Valentine's Day FUNKtional art, upcoming shows, and my most recent artwork, which I think you'll find reminiscent of a special Dr.'s time travel machine. :)

PAPER tile mosaics

Art is a wonderful way to remind your loved one that you care about them all year 'round. These artworks also say that you care about the environment. That’s right, these are made with recycled paper, not ceramic tile. Feel free to browse the collection of paper mosaics.

For those gamers out there, you'll recognize this little gem of an artwork. It's inspired by the game Minecraft. (Hint: guys, this would make the ideal gift for the gamer girl out there.) Check out this and other paper mosaics in my online gallery.

Am I time-traveling or did a whole year just pass by?

Once again, thank you for being part of my art-filled life. It's been a whole year since I started this e-newsletter and it keeps growing and growing. I appreciate all your comments and kudos; you are an inspiration. :)

All the best wishes for a happy Valentine's Day,

A big thank-you :)

A big thank-you to all who visited Game Summit this past weekend. It was nice to see so many familiar faces, and a few new ones, too.
Photograph of Valentine Bookmark

Books recycled into bookmarks

The paper beads used here are recycled magazine pages (often National Geographic). I've also been recycling old --often vintage-- charms and beads. In fact, I'm even recycling old staples. Yup, you read right: I'm using staples as the wire for adding bead clusters to some of my earrings and all of my bookmarks. You can review the entire bookmark collection or custom-order something special. Some folks have even asked for recycled LEGO pieces as the charm. :)

More recycled magazines but this time for your lovely lobes. Review the entire collection or custom-order something special. I've even been known to roll ultrasounds into beads. :)
