Kupu has had tremendous support for its recent programs and outreach events, and the organization is thankful for all of the young adults, partners, schools, and community members that have helped to share Kupu's opportunities with youth across the state! Interested in Hosting an HYCC Intern or Team?
Environmental agencies and non-profits are encouraged to apply for the opportunity to mentor and host a Kupu intern or team of youth! Applications are available to host either an individual or team for Kupu's summer program or year-long program.

Kupu’s 5th Annual MLK Day of Service a Huge Success
Kupu partnered with Malama Maunalua for this year's MLK Day of Service, and had a turnout of over 230 volunteers! Paiko Beach was host to the project, in which thousands of pounds of invasive algae were removed.

Kupu Program Openings
Apply now! Kupu is still accepting applications to participate in the Hawaii Youth Conservation Corps' Gateway Program, Frontiers Program, and Extended Internship Program.

RISE Has Record Number of Applicants
Over 40 individuals applied for three of the RISE Program’s newest EPA-funded positions! The selected applicants will be working on projects involving the reduction of food waste and emissions, green house gas regulation, and encouraging alternate modes of transportation.

E2U Program Benefits Community
Kupu's E2U Program works with home owners in reducing their energy usage and as a result, help residents lower their energy costs. Learn about the recent impact the E2U Program has helped make in a Waianae community.
